Every day something is happening at the Deutsches Museum: new exhibitions are being planned and the century-long modernisation is being pushed ahead. New objects come to the museum and are digitised and restored. Science and technology are explored with ever new questions. In the workshops we create hands-on stations, models and dioramas, for which the museum is world-famous. Our multi-layered educational programme moves beyond the museum walls into the digital realm.

Around 600 employees work on all these topics - they give guided tours, research, teach, plan, build and design. And then there are our real stars: around 100,000 exhibits are part of our valuable object collection, of which only a fraction is ever on permanent display.

In short: the Deutsches Museum contains an inexhaustible number of stories.

We share these stories and backgrounds, our knowledge and news on the Deutsches Museum blog.
